3 Goddess Routines To Try This Week

Goddess Morning Meditation

We all know the benefits of meditations. It’s all around us now and for many it’s become yet another “task” that we have to complete in our days. A Goddess mindset can shift us from thinking of this as another task to the juiciest alone time that you get all day. You’ll look forward to it.

  • Give yourself time to get in a meditation/ ritual  before the kiddos are running around and demanding every second of your attention. This is a gift to yourself.

  • Put on a beautiful robe in the morning (or your favorite silky pajamas, or anything comfy that makes you feel beautiful).

  • Grab your favorite mug and some coffee or your favorite tea. 

  • Have a dedicated spot for your meditation practice and make it a beautiful/ sacred spot. Add some plants, candles, artwork, pillows… whatever it is that makes you want to just crawl into this spot every morning to give yourself a morning treat of ritual and meditation. 

  • Energetically cleanse your space with some palo santo or sage. 

  • Spend 10-20 minutes in meditation, whatever that looks like for you. If you can do more, great. Maybe that’s listening to relaxing nature sounds, a guided meditation, or in silence. Do what makes you feel the best. 

  • Maybe journaling is your thing- get a beautiful journal

Divine Shower Routine: 

Take just 10-15 minutes to have a more luxurious, goddess-like shower vs the typical 3-minute mindless/rushed shower. Start your day with a shower experience that leaves you glowing and feeling radiant. 

  • Infuse your shower with beautiful smells. Put some essential oils on your shower walls. This eucalyptus spray is incredible and makes you feel like you are in a spa! 

  • Massage shampoo into your scalp with a scalp massager

  • Get a body scrub that feels good and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. 

  • Shave… whatever you’d like to shave! Shave what makes you feel sexy and beautiful

  • Use a body oil to use after your shower, massage it into your skin. TYou can buy one or make your own “goddess body oil” with Argan Oil and essential oils 

  • Use your favorite lotion on top of that and lather it into your skin. 


I promise you that stepping out of this shower feels wildly different than a 3 minute shower that you run in and out of. Follow this with a facial routine and you will start your day with radiance and pleasure.

Goddess Workout: 

Despite what we all may think, we actually don’t need to kill ourselves in our workouts. I used to feel like every time that I did a workout, it needed to be a minimum of an hour and I needed to be dripping with sweat and exhausted by the end. We don’t need to HIIT it until we die. In fact, that’s not even the best thing for us. So much research is coming out about “overdoing it” and the harms that can cause. Choose movement that your body loves and desires for that day. Maybe it’s dancing, walking…. Maybe it is 20 minutes of strength training because you want to feel strong. 

Fun Movement Ideas

  • Take an embodiment class- like sensual dance or belly dancing 

  • Dance in your house 

  • Go to yoga with a girlfriend

  • Go on a walk with your partner or a friend

  • Go on a beautiful hike 

  • Try something new- maybe a pilates class, aerial yoga, 

Change your workout mindset from punishment to nourishment. Doesn’t that sound more fun? More motivating? 

These Goddess rituals may seem unnecessary, but the goal is not to add yet another task to your day. The goal is to help you see yourself in a new, divine way and to fill your cup so that you can bring radiance into the world rather than the world dragging you along.
